Freehand Geometry

Area of triangle: Two adjacent sides of triangle measures 3 cm and 4 cm. Find the area of the largest possible triangle that can be made with these sides if the third side is also an integer length.

    The answer here is 6 sq. cm.
    The third side is between 2 and 6 inclusive.
    the area of tiangle is A=absinX/2.
    The maximum area can be attain if sinx=1. Or if x=90 degrees.
    The triangle then is a right triangle.
